hi people,
been long time since i posted anything on this site... now you can assume i was busy or rather not interested! :) actually to be frank, i am now used to artificial emotion showed by people online.. no offense!!
I just felt like posting something as i felt like it watching television tonight... all i saw in the television was one or the other form of love or sex or commercialization.. what is it that we have come to as a civilization i wonder some times..
we dislike talking about it citing examples such as Indian culture and stuff like that but television and things playing on it tend to cause a severe jolt to the general notion of Indian culture... but in the end who really cares? Society is just a social thing which justifies anything people with power or money think is right.. now i agree many people would tend to differ ......but in the end what i am assuming is right.
so it goes... what i realized looking at the television is that each channel is trying to woe audience in one or the other way which involves ultimately love sex or commercialization.
Is this what we have come to i wonder sometimes... but who am i to question this notion of society? forget me, no one who wants to be acceptable in this society can question the ways this entity called as " society" can question the way this entity behaves!!
but this is what i saw on the television tonight..all channels have taken to showing some sort of emotion which depicts one or combination of the 3 forms i mentioned above love sex or commercialization..
when will we learn that this things all lead to disaster? history has thought us that all this 3 things lead to tragedy but still we always tend to love things which lead to tragedy!!
once i heard a dialogue from one hit movie where the machine supposedly says that the human race is similar to a life cycle of a virus.. thinking in retrospect i wonder was that far away from the actual truth? we by a fact consume all the resource a place has to offer and then move on to another location... now this will be called non positive thinking but no one can deny as this being a fact we tend to deny... we have a life cycle similar to a normal virus... but still we will never understand the actual purpose of life is to help a person or animal in need but again why will we care...
sometimes i feel this is all God's fault ... he gave humans a long life so that he can plan for the future... that made man to tend to forget that even a 100 years of life is still a pretty small thing compared to the life of this universe... but still this does not help .. you will still find insurance companies making a huge profit!!
Anyways.. hope i have not jolted your notion of a normal life too badly!!
